A jury verdict that a product is not in a defective condition but its manufacturer was negligent in respect to its manufacture or sale, is inconsistent when the jury was instructed that the product is in a defective condition if not accompanied by adequate warnings and there were no separate instructions on negligence other than failure to properly warn. NIERENGARTEN, Judge Loctite Corporation appeals from an order of the trial court denying its motion for judgment notwithstanding the verdict or, in the alternative, for a new trial on the grounds of errors of law occurring at trial, of a verdict not justified by the evidence and that the verdicts were irreconcilable and inconsistent. We reverse.
